An American manufacturer, one Texas town

Trans Cable International was founded in 2013 in Bonham, Texas, 75 miles north of Dallas, as a small manufacturer of commercial data cables. Seven employees ran the first lines, serving a handful of businesses, and the first customer shipment went out that same year.

Growth followed the demand for electrical infrastructure: commercial audio, security, and fire alarm cable, then CAT6a UTP CMP for the high-bandwidth data communications market. By the end of 2019 the company had grown to 30 team members and established partnerships with data cable distributors across the country.

High temperature extrusion lines and pairing equipment expanded capacity and reached data cable markets outside the U.S., followed by private label programs with OEM customers for industrial, transportation, and shipboard marine cable. In May 2024 Trans Cable attained AS9100D and ISO 9001 certification, adding FEP, PFA, and ETFE insulation and jacketing, plated copper and alloy braiding, and improved spooling and Reelex coiling. Today the plant continues to add capability for aerospace, defense, and harsh environment customers.
